Anita Squires, LMBT
“I believe that knowledge is power and that gaining an understanding of your anatomy and the power of the body’s self-healing mechanism can transform total body health.”
Anita has been a licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist since 2018. She graduated with an associate in sciences degree from Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, NC in 2019 where she studied Outcome based/Clinical Massage Therapy. Over the past 6 years, she has gained experience working in multiple settings; from a Spa facility to a clinical based practice and in private practice since 2020. Since 2021 she has attended various levels of training in Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute International based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. In the past year, she and her husband moved to South Carolina and she is excited to serve the Pendleton/Clemson community.
“My passion is using a whole-body approach to clinical, therapeutic treatment. I have discovered how clients respond best to massage and bodywork through integrated therapy. This means that during a session various modalities and tools may be incorporated based on what your body needs to create change and restore balance. The following is a list of therapies often integrated into a session:”
Myofascial Release
Cupping and Blading
Craniosacral Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy
Total Body Balancing
